Luxury tourism grew in Brazil during the pandemic – and the changes in the behavior of the Brazilian luxury traveler are directly related to this. Some of the changes are obviously fleeting, given the constraints necessary for our security in these pandemic times; but part of them should remain in the short and medium term. July 2021 was the best month in the historical series for luxury hospitality in the country, with the best occupancy rates in many years. Many people finally “found” with the trips in Brazil: not only the demand for existing properties and services grew, but also stimulated the opening of new businesses focused on this niche in the middle of the pandemic.
