The progress in vaccination in Brazil began to bring optimism to the
domestic tourism market, pointed out a study by the Brazilian
Association of Tourism Businesses (BRAZTOA), released Wednesday.
The better scenario comes mainly because of greater consumer interest
to acquire or plan trips. The tourism business environment is expected
to improve in the second half of 2021.
According to BRAZTOA, the results make the industry optimistic, even
if sales still fall short of what was practiced before the pandemic, on
average only 25% of what it was.
